About Us
Selecting a child care facility for your child is a very personal decision. It is important to get all of the facts about the facility before you make your decision.
With a history of providing superior early childhood care and education to the community for over 23 years, you can rest assured that we understand your concerns and we hope this site will help educate you about Swift Child Care. We have put information about our facilities, programs, staff, and philosophy here for you to learn more about us.
Throughout the day children work in small groups, in individual settings and with the rest of the class in supervised activities. We feel your child will benefit from both the structured and non-structured learning activities.
Families are highly encouraged to schedule a visit at any of our facilities to inquire about our programs and enrollment. The following is a list of our existing centers and their programs:
8260 Elmwood Street (corner of Elmwood & Madison St.; across from Post Office)
Infants (6 wks) - School-Age (12 yrs)
Full day (7am - 6pm) Early Care and Education environment for children from 6 weeks - 5 years old
Before and After school care* (7am - 9am; 3pm - 6pm) for Elementary school children from 5 years - 12 years Full day/Full week Summer Camp* for Elementary school children from 5 years - 12 years old June through August
8064 Lincoln Avenue (just north of Oakton Street; accross from St. Peter's Catholic Church)
Two year olds and Preschool (2 yrs - 5 yrs)
Full day (7am - 6pm) Early Care and Education environment for children from 2 years - 5 years old
8106 Lincoln Avenue (2 buildings north of 8064 Lincoln Avenue preschool site)
Infants (6 wks - 18 mos) - Toddlers/Twos (18 mos - 35 mos)
Full day (7am - 6pm) Early Care and Education environment for children from 6 weeks - 3 years old
(At age 3, children transition to a preschool classroom either at 8064 Lincoln Avenue or 8260 Elmwood Street)
*School Age children must be enrolled in a full-day Elementary school in order to be eligible for our Before/After school program and associated rates. (Before/After school care is limited to 7am-9am and 3pm-6pm)
